ABP Half Marathon, Southampton
Professor Andrew Lotery, his wife Helen and son Chris will again run as 'Team Lotery'. Please give generously to support Prof as he returns from a conference in the USA a day before. No jet lag allowed Andrew!!

'Beating Blindness' - An evening with our vision research scientists
6.30 - 8.00pm at DoubleTree by Hilton, Bracken Place, Chilworth, Southampton SO16 3RB.
Professor Andrew Lotery and his colleagues will provide an update on clinical research studies and current scientific research projects being undertaken by the University of Southampton Vision Sciences group. The evening will be introduced by Mr Andy Luff.
Speakers will be Professor Andrew Lotery, Professor Parwez Hossain, Mr Jay Self, Ms Helena Lee, Dr Arjuna Ratnayaka and Dr Jorn Lakowski. We are delighted that some of our postdoctoral fellows (junior scientists) will be at the event to explain some of their studies.
There will be no charge to attend the evening but voluntary donations on the night would be appreciated
Hot and cold drinks will be available from 5.45pm, prior to the event.

An evening garden party with a drink and canapes,
at Little Court, Crawley, Hampshire by kind invitation of Mrs Patricia Elkington.
Set in 3.5 acres this lovely garden opens regularly through the National Garden Scheme. Professor Lotery and Dr Jorn Lakowski (an academic vision science researcher in the University of Southampton and the Elkington Fellow) will be with us, as well as some of the research team. The evening will be relaxed and informal but will provide a great opportunity to chat with our team whilst enjoying a chance to enjoy this beautiful garden.

Open Sight Exhibition at The Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton SO30 3XH
This biennial exhibition will feature talks by Professor Andrew Lotery and Associate Professor Jay Self, who both have vision research groups in the University of Southampton.
